The original bruk beat turntablist DJ Psykhomantus teamed up with Birmingham producer Reon Vangèr with a remix project inspired by ™Shall I Bruk it. Few of the tracks got leaked on to digital radio platforms including Rinse F.M., and Jazz.FM. After hearing the response and support of the songs, the duo decided to compete the project and entitled it "iMantus x Reon Vangèr presents Bruk Re:freshed".
